My Friend, This Is India

Story by Jesse Morrow February 9th, 2017

In November, 2016, I traveled through a few cities of India with my friend Jovo. Over the course of 2 weeks we acted the part of tourists and tried our best to see things from the local's perspective. From visiting Taj Mahal to riding scooters up a mountain, we covered a lot of ground in a short time. For me, trips to any foreign place are special and eye opening, this one included. I hope you're able to get a sense of what I saw and felt.

In Rishikesh cows roam the streets freely.

Jovo and I rented scooters (locals called them scooties) to ride up in the Himalayan foothills outside of town.

Jovo was pumped.
After I took a picture of this guy on his beautiful bike, he asked if I wanted to take it for a ride. I did and my Indian dreams came true.
