Pilchuck Rain

Story by Jesse Morrow December 2nd, 2013

Saturday September 28

Early in the morning I set out to hike Mount Pilchuck. The reviews of the hike were all positive, basically it's a short hike with amazing views of the Cascades. Our trip started in Everett, WA and by the time we had reached the bottom of the mountain we were in some heavy rain. Still determined we hiked through the precipitation. By the time we had reached the top we found ourselves in zero visibility and very low temperatures. We were all cold but took the opportunity to grab some photos, eat some salmon and laugh together about the situation.
